Despite a global and regional slowdown in smartphone sales, Samsung is expecting to hit gold with its latest devices. The smartphone maker began taking pre-orders for the latest S10 line of devices on February 10. However, according to The National, it ran out of all stock within 10 days.
Pre-orders are 32% higher than with earlier models, the paper quoted Samsung Gulf Electronic’s head of IT and Mobile to say. “We had to stop within 10 days, whereas last year, it ran for nearly two weeks,” he added.
