Al Khiran Hybrid Outlet Mall will offer over 300 stores in heart of Sabah Al Ahmad Sea City. Tamdeen Group has launched Kuwait’s first hybrid outlet, leisure and lifestyle destination in the south of the country.
Al Khiran Hybrid Outlet Mall, an $820 million (KD250m) development, will be spread across 350,000 square metres in the heart of Sabah Al Ahmad Sea City and will offer over 300 stores, F&B options and AI and tech-themed entertainment. The project is complimented by Kuwait’s largest marina, with 900 berths, 1.25km of landscaped park and boardwalk, the Water Gardens and an amphitheatre.
Mohammad Jassim Al Marzouq, chairman of Tamdeen Group, said: “Our conviction in this project stems from a thorough understanding of customers’ expectations and behaviours in Kuwait along with a deep-rooted purpose of setting new benchmarks in the country’s retail real-estate industry.” Kuwait currently boasts a population of over 4.6 million, 70 percent of which are youth. The country has a total retail spend of $33.3 billion, which is growing at 7.8 percent and is expected to reach $52.2bn in 2025.
Al Marzouq added: “Kuwait’s 2035 Vision and, as part of it, the rigorous development in its South have furthered our role in the private sector of strengthening the position of Kuwait as a regional destination for shopping, entertainment and leisure.”
