The company has unveiled its new flagship store in Mexico City’s prestigious Masaryk district which spans 878sq m.
The highly anticipated opening showcases Tiffany & Co.’s latest design concept inspired by the House’s iconic Fifth Avenue flagship, The Landmark.
The new store offers a unique atmosphere that effortlessly combines craft, art and heritage in one location, providing an experience beyond traditional retail. Tiffany & Co.’s Masaryk flagship store features a captivating handmade ceramic façade with a blue gradient reminiscent of the House’s iconic hue.
The façade honours the legacy of Louis Comfort Tiffany’s early 20th-century mosaic work. The handcrafted mosaic birds are a focal point of the design and are inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s iconic Bird on a Rock motif. Introduced in 1965, the Bird on a Rock is as modern and of the moment today as it was nearly 60 years ago when Jean Schlumberger first designed the iconic creation.
Blending local Mexican design elements with Tiffany & Co.’s heritage, the store includes a ceramic wall by Mauricio Paniagua and Tony Moxham and bespoke lamps by Perla Valtierra. Within the first floor, visitors can discover the House’s most definitive collections, including Lock by Tiffany, HardWear by Tiffany, T by Tiffany and Knot by Tiffany.
