H&M Advances in Latin America

The Swedish fast-fashion giant continues to expand its reach in Latin America. H&M is finalising details of its launch in Brazil, while confirming its arrival in the El Salvador market before the end of the year.

H&M has confirmed its arrival in Brazil, where it plans to open its first stores in São Paulo and Campinas during the second half of 2025, in addition to launching its online store in the country. This expansion is part of a strategy focused on growing omni-channel sales, combining the in-store shopping experience with the convenience of e-commerce.

In addition to Brazil, H&M also reaffirmed its commitment to the Central American market by announcing its arrival in El Salvador in 2025. The company will continue investing in physical stores throughout the year, while strengthening its online channels, seeking balanced and sustained growth on both fronts.

Latin America has become a major development hub for both H&M and its European rival, the Inditex group, which has a presence in almost every country in the region.

H&M currently has a presence in Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay.
