MK Design’s Al Hallab redesign features flourishes of colourful Phoenician tiles, expanded greenery and layered materials.
Al Hallab has opened the doors to its relocated branch inside Mall of the Emirates, revealing a reimagined dining space designed by MK Design.
Now welcoming guests on Level 2 near VOX Cinemas, the new interiors signal a bold chapter in the Lebanese brand’s legacy – where classic hospitality meets a refined, contemporary aesthetic.
A beloved name in Lebanese cuisine, Al Hallab continues to honour its long-standing heritage while evolving for a new generation of diners. The relocation debuts the brand’s new logo, updated identity and slogan A Timeless Journey, all expressed through MK Design’s vision of a larger, brighter space layered with heritage cues and modern elegance.
Every element of the interiors tells a story. Flourishes of colourful Phoenician tiles, expanded greenery and a dramatically enhanced Lebanese sweets counter nod to Al Hallab’s origins as a pâtisserie in 1881 Tripoli. Evocative imagery and heritage motifs are woven throughout, while the warm, open kitchen concept anchors the space, bringing the dining experience to life.
With a seating capacity of 180, the restaurant caters to both leisurely family gatherings and quick dessert visits, each offering indoor and terrace seating. The space, crafted to invite connection and comfort, bridges nostalgia with a sophisticated modern design language.
