Ala Moana Center Welcomes New Tenants

Hawaiʻi’s largest open-air shopping centre and premier gathering place to explore, connect and shop, has recently welcomed six new tenants, including Balsam Hill Studio, Banyan Tree Tattoo, Grand Seiko, Roger Dunn Golf Hawai‘i, Rothy’s and UA Hawaiʻi.

The centre will also soon welcome local brand 2BDesired, as well as the Hawai‘i debut of Gorjana. These updates, along with several relocations within the centre and the addition of two new murals by local artist Jeff Gress, further elevate Ala Moana Center as a must-visit destination for shopping, dining and entertainment.

Ala Moana Center recently unveiled an enhanced arrival experience with two large-scale murals located at the JTB and Kona Street Trolley Depot areas. Created in partnership with POW! WOW! Hawai‘i and painted by local artist Jeff Gress, known for his hand-painted lettering and floral work, the vibrant pieces reflect the cultural spirit of Hawai‘i and provide a memorable first impression for visitors and residents. Completed on 1July, the murals E Komo Mai (12 feet by 75 feet) and Aloha (12 feet by 70 feet) add a distinctive local touch to the Center’s entrances.

Located at the heart of the Pacific, Ala Moana Center has remained Hawaiʻi’s central gathering place for residents and visitors from around the world to explore, connect and shop, since 1959. Anchored by Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, macy’s and Target, the property is home to a diverse collection of more than 350 stores and restaurants, including an extensive selection of local, international and luxury brands, one-of-a-kind specialty stores and more than 160 dining options.
