The luxury fashion house’s move to 5 Sloane Street reinforces the brand’s long-standing presence in London and strengthens Knightsbridge’s position as a premier location for luxury retail.
The Sloane Street store is Dolce&Gabbana’s fourth standalone location in London, offering the full range of men’s and women’s Ready-to-Wear collections, accessories and Dolce&Gabbana Fine Jewellery creations. The unit features a red-brick façade, dual entrances on Sloane Street and Basil Street, expansive windows and interiors that blend classical touches and exceptional craftsmanship with modern detailing.
The Knightsbridge Estate is located between world-famous department stores Harrods and Harvey Nichols, bounded by Brompton Road to the north and Basil Street to the south and includes prime retail and Grade A office space, cafés, restaurants and homes.
Dolce&Gabbana’s relocation to the neighbourhood is the latest in a series of openings and improvements to the visitor and resident experience in The Knightsbridge Estate. These include new fine-dining Japanese restaurant Clap and its all-day café concept Clap Ka-FE, premium openings including Coach on Brompton Road, the transformative pedestrianisation of Basil Street and a new step-free entrance to Knightsbridge Underground Station. Neighbouring landowner Cadogan has also recently completed works to upgrade the public realm on Sloane Street.
Tom Woolven, on behalf of The Knightsbridge Estate, commented: “Dolce&Gabbana’s arrival within The Knightsbridge Estate demonstrates the enduring strength of Knightsbridge as a hub for luxury retail in London. The retailer’s decision to relocate highlights the confidence leading fashion houses place in this location and in our vision for the area. We are delighted to welcome them as we continue to deliver world-class brands and experiences across the neighbourhood.”
