Chinese designer toy brand Pop Mart has opened its largest Japanese store yet, unveiling a three-storey flagship in Osaka’s busy Ebisu-bashi-suji shopping district.
The new store, situated near Namba Station, is Pop Mart’s first street-front location in the Kansai region and marks the company’s 11th directly operated store in Japan.
The opening follows the debut of its Harajuku flagship in 2022, as the brand continues to deepen its presence in the Japanese market.
The Osaka Namba offers an expanded range of collectible art toys and brand experiences, aimed at deepening engagement with local fans.
The Japan expansion comes on the heels of Pop Mart’s first Global Landmark store launch in Bangkok last month. The Thailand flagship spans more than 760sqm and features the brand’s first overseas Pop Mart Cafe, signalling the company’s continued push into international markets.
