MADE.COM unveils new Lyon showroom

Today, European design brand MADE.COM announces the opening of a new showroom in Lyon, its eighth in Europe. The MADE Lyon showroom will be a constantly evolving and adaptable design hub and event space. It will feature a constantly updated product selection from the in-house MADE studio design team and their network of hundreds of independent designers.

The Lyon showroom joins brand spaces in Amsterdam, Berlin, Leeds, Birmingham, Hamburg, and flagships in Soho and Paris. Located near the Place Bellecour, at 11 Bis Rue Jarente, in the 2nd Arrondissement of Lyon, the showroom extends over 220m 2 , and features some of MADE’s best-selling designs from collaborators such as Margaux Keller as well as the in house MADE design team.

Visitors to the showroom can test out bestsellers in real life, then shop via the large format touch screens in the showroom, the app on their smartphones, or with a team member to complete their purchase. The supersized touch screens include features such as Find My Style – to help customers find products that match their taste – and Shop Instagram – a shoppable feed of instagram posts featuring MADE products. The smaller touch screens include Colour, Size and Style picker experiences.
The showroom will also feature a regular series of MADE events and workshops for customers and visitors. The schedule of events will be curated with like-minded influencers and hosts and will offer an enhanced MADE experience focused on design, art, wellness and lifestyle trends.

Philippe Chainieux, CEO of MADE.COM, said: “As I am from the South of France, I’m personally proud to launch our new showroom in the beautiful city of Lyon, giving us the chance to meet our customers in the Rhône-Alpes region. Adding this location to our flagship showroom in Paris allows for us to offer our French customers the chance to experience the MADE brand and see the latest pieces from our designers. As a digital brand, our showrooms and brand spaces add an important human connection and offer a tangible element to finding design inspiration with us.”
