DP World has revealed the design of its Expo 2020 Dubai pavilion, which will be one of the largest at the site. The pavilion, which will remain a permanent fixture once the event concludes, is centred around the concept of ‘Making Trade Flow’.
DP World, which official is the Premier Global Trade Partner of Expo 2020 Dubai, said the pavilion is being developed in line with the event’s sub-themes of Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability.
The pavilion will feature augmented and virtual reality that will allow visitors to see the real-time movement of cargo across the world, and learn how global trade happens and its impact on every aspect of everyone’s life every day.
Visitors to the pavilion will also be introduced to innovations including DP World Cargospeed, the transportation system powered by Hyperloop, and BoxBay, an automated high rise stacking system for containers that is set to revolutionise global supply chains.
