Warm up with a hot mug of cocoa at the Mashrabiya Lounge’s Festive Afternoon Tea. Many things give us that Christmas cheer, but nothing gives us that warm, festive feeling inside more than a sweet mug of hot chocolate, and Fairmont The Palm is offering a bar full of them.
One of the Palm Jumeirah’s five-star hotels is setting up a limited-time hot chocolate bar, and it will be whipping up hot cocoas 24 hours a day. That’s a lot of chocolate, but there’s no such thing as too much choccy during Christmas.
Setting up at the Mashrabiya Lounge between Sunday December 1 and Wednesday January 8, 2020, each cup will be priced at Dhs40, and it comes topped with whipped cream, and pick ‘n’ mix-style sweet toppings for you to choose from. All the marshmallows, please.
That’s not all, as the lounge will also be hosting a special festive afternoon tea throughout the holiday season, featuring baked log cakes, sparkling sweet treats and a menu of the hotel’s signature chocolate drinks.
Taking place daily from Sunday December 1 to Wednesday January 8 from noon until 6pm, prices are set at Dhs155, with an additional Dhs40 for hot chocolate at the bar. Fairmont The Palm has also revealed when its annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony will be, which includes a visit from Santa and his musical grotto, and a live choir.
