Work has commenced on a £2.5m mixed-use retail development in Hull.
Property developer Priority Space is now delivering ten retail units on Wawne Road between North Bransholme and Kingswood in Hull.
Due to be completed in May 2019, the units will include a One Stop convenience store, a veterinary practice, pharmacy, bakery and takeaways, plus a family restaurant.
The scheme will also see an extension at nearby Broadacre Primary School, two new public parks and a new nursery.
This development forms part of a partnership between the council and property consortium KSHP – made up of housing developer Keepmoat, Strata Homes, Persona, part of Home Group and Priority Space.
The partnership will deliver 1660 new homes on Wawne Road, of which the first phase of 747 is currently underway.
