Intu Trafford Centre has installed a Peter Rabbit themed Christmas Grottto, with autism-friendly design features, for the festive season.
Developed with Penguin Ventures, a division of publisher Penguin Random House, the immersive grotto seeks to bring Beatrix Potter’s famous character to life as he leads children through an interactive woodland in search of Father Christmas.
Autism-friendly experiences will feature smaller groups of visitors, quieter music and specially-trained elves. Signing sessions are available for those with hearing needs.
