Adidas Strengthens Argentina Presence

The company continues with its expansion strategy in Argentina and during the first half of the year, the brand completed the opening of three new stores.

One new store opened in Mar del Plata and two strategic relocations launched in Pilar and Avellaneda.

These new spaces not only increase the German brand’s regional presence but also reflect its strategy of offering more modern and comprehensive environments.

The city of Mar del Plata was the scene of one of these openings, with a new store inaugurated right on the San Martín pedestrian street. This 250sq m space specialises in footwear and seeks to become a point of reference for the brand’s fans in one of the country’s main tourist destinations.

In Pilar, meanwhile, the brand reopened its store in the Palmas del Pilar shopping centre on 7 June, now located on the ground floor of the mall. The new location is twice the size of the previous space, with 470sq m designed under the global Home of Sports concept. This store presents a comprehensive offering that encompasses both sports and lifestyle categories.

Within the sports category, lines such as Training, Running, Football and specialised sports such as Rugby, Tennis, Paddle Tennis, Golf and Hockey are included. Regarding lifestyle, Sportswear and Originals stand out, with products designed for everyday use bearing the brand’s distinctive seal.

A similar renovation took place in Avellaneda, where Adidas opened a new store in the Alto Avellaneda shopping centre. With a surface area of 460sq m, the space was conceived under the same Home of Sports concept and presents a varied offering that brings together the brand’s main lines.

In both Pilar and Avellaneda, the new stores incorporate customisation areas, a unique feature that allows customers to customise products with prints, names and numbers, as well as accessories such as pins and patches.
