The Ourense-based fashion brand is advancing its Central American expansion. As part of its international growth strategy, Adolfo Domínguez has opened a new store in Mexico City.
Located in the Artz Pedregal shopping centre in Mexico City, the new boutique features a minimalist and sophisticated design, faithful to the characteristic style and DNA of the Galician brand. With this opening, Adolfo Domínguez gains momentum in the Mexican capital, where it currently operates around fifteen points of sale, including its own stores and sales spaces in the El Palacio de Hierro department store.
The opening also marks another step in the firm’s consolidation plan in foreign markets, through which it recently launched its first presence in Andorra and expanded its sales network in countries such as Japan and Portugal. At the close of its last fiscal year, the company had a network of 371 points of sale spread across 51 countries and was also sold in 31 markets through its e-commerce platform.
Founded in the 1970s by designer Adolfo Domínguez, the brand has been chaired since 2020 by businesswoman Adriana Domínguez, who was re-elected CEO at the end of last July. According to its latest figures, the company recorded revenues of €24.1M in the first quarter of the current fiscal year, supported particularly by the growth in international sales.
