International surfing brand Animal has chosen Cribbs Mall, the South West’s leading retail destination, as its first shopping centre store, signing a 10-year lease to occupy a 5,000sq ft space.
Animal‘s arrival demonstrates the continued success at Cribbs Mall which has seen a 10 per cent rise in footfall and eight per cent growth in sales over the past quarter.
Through its evolving tenant mix and second largest regional catchment area which draws in shoppers from across the South West, Wales and West Midlands, leading brands are queuing up to join the Cribbs retailer mix.
Founded in the South West in 1987, Animal has gained recognition internationally with the surfing and action sports community due to its rugged and functional nature. Over the past three decades it has built on its board sports heritage becoming a leading lifestyle clothing brand with its in-house design team taking inspiration from its coastal beginnings.
Its new store at Cribbs Mall will stock Animal’s full array of sportswear which ranges from wetsuits and swimwear for the beach, through to snow jackets and base layers for snowboarding.
