Award Winner Launches Monarch Hospitality

Monarch Hospitality Group has officially launched in Dubai, founded by Badr Benryane, a seasoned restaurateur with over 15 years of experience in building acclaimed dining destinations across the region.

The former F&B manager at Atlantis, The Palm, won big at the Caterer Middle East Awards in 2022 while at the hotel. His new venture is positioned as a boutique hospitality company, focusing on developing concepts rooted in culture, design and sustainability.

Alongside its own in-house brands, the company also offers consultancy services to entrepreneurs and businesses seeking creative and operational guidance in launching or transforming hospitality ventures.

The group’s flagship project, Mamati, a homestyle Moroccan eatery located in Jumeirah, has already carved out a niche for itself among Dubai’s Moroccan community, the firm says. The concept gained wider recognition after participating in BRED Abu Dhabi in collaboration with New Balance.

The group’s next venture Kraken is slated to be its most ambitious yet. Created in collaboration with Benryane’s former Atlantis colleague, the critically-acclaimed chef Grégoire Berger, the seafood-forward concept will merge culinary craftsmanship with immersive storytelling.

Set to launch soon on Al Wasl Road, Dubai, Kraken aims to push the boundaries of modern seafood cuisine while championing ocean conservation and experiential dining.
