The brand has unveiled a flagship boutique at Siam Paragon in Bangkok, which is designed to combine the spirit of Thai heritage with the brand’s craftsmanship.
The new duplex space, which spans 758sq m, is a part of the brand’s Heavenly Cartier concept, which “bridges earthly beauty with divine imagination”. The main floor will feature the brand’s most renowned collections, including Love, Panthere de Cartier and Clash de Cartier.
A stained glass installation by glass and metalwork artisan, O Thai, is set into the wall between the two bas-reliefs of the Grand Palace, featuring a tutti frutti colour palette while a metallic framing in the form of the Pudtarn flower emulates the designer’s art of stone setting.
The welcome lounge features a straw marquetry artwork by Thai creative studio Muse Design. It is crafted from corn husk and straw, blending Western techniques with Thai materials to reflect the city’s diverse culture.
The Siam Paragon boutique presents seven exclusive animated window displays, six large-scale animations from Paris, showcased along with a display inspired by the Phra Sri Rattana Chedi of Wat Phra Kaew, a symbol of auspiciousness and prosperity in Bangkok.
The new opening is marked by the showcase of Cartier’s Libre Tuttitutti collection, available only at the Siam Paragon flagship from 1 August to 19 September.
