The brand’s products are being distributed in Poland by Barner Polska, with sales via an online store having already started. However, the company has not ruled out opening a traditional brick-and-mortar store in the near future.

“As Poland develops in business terms, the digitisation levels of companies are also increasing, which is why we are convinced that we will be able to create a trend on the domestic market for greater eye care. We want to make people aware of the dangers of blue light and encourage those working all day in front of computers to protect their eyes so that they can perform their daily duties more efficiently and without impacting their nervous systems,” says Paweł Gościcki of Barner Polska.

In the company’s view, blue light, also known as high energy visible light (HEV), which is emitted by LED and fluorescent lamps as well as digital devices, can cause a variety of health problems, such as insomnia, headaches, blurred vision, eye-strain and so on – although it has to be noted that this is a highly contentious claim.
