The Los Angeles-based athletic lifestyle brand has planted its flag on the East Coast, opening a 2,760sq ft location in Greenwich, Connecticut.
The size of the store means the space is the brand’s largest store to date and offers the broadest assortment of any other Beyond Yoga store, including women’s, men’s and maternity items. Acquired by Levi Strauss & Co. the company plans to open stores in Boston (in the Seaport Neighbourhood) Westport, Connecticut and Marin County, California, later this year.
Designed to feel like a “natural extension of the brand”, the new Greenwich store features an open layout grounded in natural materials and details such as the preserved historical window that floods the fitting room area with natural light. Rotating window displays will reflect the seasons, the lifestyle of the Greenwich community and key brand moments.
Customers can also enjoy refreshments such as coffee, tea and water to recharge, as well as a patio where community events will be hosted.
