Bimba y Lola opens in Malaysia

Bimba y Lola is pushing its international expansion into Asia, one of its priority markets, with the opening of a new store in Kuala Lumpur , the textile logo said in a statement. Specifically, the store has an area of ​​80 square meters and is located in The Gardens Mall , the city’s leading mall with more than 200 outlets. 

The logo led by Maria and Uxia Domínguez said that it will continue to grow in Malaysia with new openings in the coming months and that this new opening strengthens its growth in one of its priority markets. 

Internationally, the fashion firm is already present in 15 countrieswith a total of 279 establishments, distributed in 169 in Spain and 110 in the rest of the world. 

Bimba y Lola closed last fiscal year, closed on February 28, with a turnover of € 201.3 million, representing an increase of 11.4% compared to the previous year’s data. 

The firm emphasized that this increase in its annual turnover was driven by the international growth plan implemented by the company, which allowed it to have more than 100 points of sale outside Spain and a total of 272 points at the end of last year. 

The textile brand underlined that international activity already accounts for 28% of its total turnover , mainly due to its presence in European, as well as South American and Asian countries.

Bimba y Lola indicated that the growth of its annual turnover was benefited by the growth of sales in the digital channel and also in the points of sale to the public, as well as the international deliveries, with an increase of 21%.
