Plans to transform House of Fraser’s store in Birmingham into offices and a hotel are understood to be in the pipeline.
According to Property Week, Legal & General has drawn up proposals for the scheme and will submit them to Birmingham City Council in the coming weeks.
The Rackhams building could be redeveloped into nine floors of office space and hotel accommodation.
The scheme could also feature bars, restaurants, cafés and retail space, as well as a rooftop terrace.
