The celebrated restaurant Hung’s Delicacies, recommended by the Hong Kong and Macau Michelin Guide 2025 Bib Gourmand and a recipient of a Michelin star for five consecutive years (2010-2014), has opened its first 24-hour branch at Hong Kong International Airport.
With a goal of bringing exquisite, modern Chiuchow and Cantonese cuisine to travellers worldwide, the new branch will not only offer a range of popular signature dishes but also feature airport-exclusive freshly roasted Signature BBQ Pork and their locally renowned BBQ Pork & Pan-fried Eggs Rice.
Additionally, there will be a dedicated Grab & Go counter selling various Chiuchow cold appetizers, along with specially designed souvenirs for travellers to take on their flights. These include Chiuchow Marinated Whole Goose, Hong Kong-made Fragrant XO Sauce and Premium Chili Oil.
Hung’s Delicacies previously operated a successful branch at the Airport Terminal 2, which won multiple international awards. Building on this success, SSP Group, the leading global travel food and beverage operator, has once again partnered with Hung’s Delicacies to establish this new presence at the airport. Not only does SSP Group ensure that the food quality aligns with that of the downtown branch but also strived to rejuvenate the brand and enhance the dining experience.
The airport branch features a novel and eye-catching interior design, highlighted by a vibrant red colour scheme and classic neon light decorations, while retaining original brand characteristics such as an open display for Chiuchow marinated dishes. A nostalgic Hong Kong bicycle photo spot has also been set up at the entrance, adding local charm. This warm and lively atmosphere makes it an ideal gathering place for travellers and their friends and family. It is anticipated that this will help towards providing diners with a memorable culinary experience by telling charming stories of Hong Kong to international travellers while showcasing the founder Chef Lai Wai Hung’s unwavering commitment to quality and taste.
