The company has started their first preparatory works on Istropolis, a new development at a key communication point in the wider centre of Bratislava.
A series of preparatory works on the infrastructure will begin on the 4.3ha plot at the end of July 2025, followed by the first phase of construction. The developer will start with network transhipments, construction site equipment, preparation of logistics routes and alternative traffic routing.
The Istropolis project has a valid zoning decision and a valid building permit for the start of the first works and will obtain the rest of the permits on an ongoing basis. Given the scope of the work and the size of the zone, the implementation will take place in several phases. The first to begin construction will be two office buildings and one residential building; the estimated construction time for the first three buildings is approximately two and a half years.
Among the first confirmed tenants are Dell and McDonald’s. The developer plans to launch the sale of apartments in the first Block A in the autumn and clients can already register on the project website. When completed, Istropolis will bring nine new buildings to the area, including a modern cultural and social hall, two new squares, 600 new apartments and approximately 5,000 workplaces.
