Asia’s first Lush Naked store has opened in Hong Kong, on the heels of similar stores in Milan, Berlin and Manchester. The store, located on Great George Street in Causeway Bay, offers plastic-packaging free products ranging from shampoo bars and soaps through to new skincare solutions.
Lush Asia director Annabelle Baker says the store offers consumers an alternative to buying packaged items, helping tackle Hong Kong’s plastic waste challenge.
“Wastage is a monumental problem where inaction is not an option and recycling should be the last option. This is why I was so passionate to launch our first Asian Lush Naked shop in Hong Kong.
“We don’t have space in Hong Kong to deal with our wastage, we have to reduce it and that’s where Lush comes in. The Lush Naked concept store will provide new, innovative and effective products in one of the most convenient and prominent locations in the territory.”
