The hotel operator has rebranded one of their best boutique heritage hotels in Singapore from Six Senses hotels to the Duxton Reserve Singapore.
Originally opened as Six Senses hotel in Singapore in 2018, the 49-room hotel is owned by The Garcha Group and ceased operations at the end of May in 2020. Marriott has officially added the property to their Autograph Collection.
The Duxton Reserve Singapore is made from eight sustainably restored 19th Century shophouses and the new design echoes this 19th century elegance and features a diverse mix of Chinese, Malay and European elements. Upon entering, guests are greeted with large golden fans and strong hues of black, gold and yellow, layered with Oriental screens and calligraphy wallpaper.
Each of the 49 guest rooms and suites have been uniquely designed so that no two are the same, however each room is complete with a fully stocked premium minibar, espresso machine and tea and coffee making facilities, satellite TV and Bluetooth speaker, organic cotton towels and robes and a nightly turndown service.
Guests can also enjoy the Yellow Pot Restaurant and Anouska’s Bar, named after the interior designer Anouska Hempel, who worked on the project.
