The world-renowned brand has opened a pop-up dedicated to its running division at the Nordstrom flagship in New York City.
Open to the public until 2 September, “Nike Running @ The Corner” is part of an ongoing series of pop-ups and brand takeovers featured at the department store in a dedicated space on the corner of 57th and Broadway. The new pop-up features Nike performance footwear and apparel to serve every type of runner, including the brand’s new road running line-up designed with a focus on the cushioning runners care about most, the retailer said.
In addition, the assortment includes select women’s running apparel and accessories, with customisation to support each runner’s personal style and self-expression.
The Nike pop-up will also feature a range of community programming throughout the month including weekly runs, recovery workshops and styling sessions. The activities will include a 5km group morning run on Fridays led by Nike running coaches, designed for all experience levels, which will be followed by recovery, giveaways and more.
“We want Nike Running @ The Corner Nordstrom NYC to be our love letter to runners: a celebration of movement, mindset and personal style,” said Olivia Kim, Senior VP of Creative at Nordstrom. “It’s about giving our customers the power to choose how they show up for themselves and their goals with the best of Nike innovation and Nordstrom service in one inspiring corner of the city.”
