Oakley Debuts High-Tech ‘Bunker-Style’ Denver Site

The eyewear and goggle brand has opened its newest immersive retail store in a major skiing and snowboarding hub.

Oakley’s latest store in located in Denver’s River North Arts District (RiNo) and offers visitors an ‘immersive, 360-degree omni-channel experience’ in a high-tech ‘bunker-style’ space with access to one of Oakley’s largest selections of apparel and accessories. The brand says the new locations signals a ‘new era’, where technology and thoughtful design come together to redefine the consumer journey.

“Through innovation-led expansion, we’re reimagining the retail experience and how we show up for consumers,” said Luigi Ocone, Senior VP & GM at Oakley. “It’s about moving beyond product to create meaningful experiences that leave our visitors feeling inspired, connected and part of something bigger. While this space marks an exciting new chapter, we’re equally committed to making meaningful contributions to the RiNo community – and showing up with intention to become a valued part of it.”

Highlights of Oakley’s new Denver outpost include the following:

  • Customisation Zone: A designated area featuring Oakley Custom Product to customise shades with preferred frames, lenses, or sport team colours for a unique look.
  • Prizm Wall: An interactive space where visitors can experience Oakley’s lens technology.
  • Museum Wall: A wall that features a curation of ‘iconic products’ from the past.
  • Catalyst Wall: A wall filled with new high-heat products ‘built for the future and delivered to the present’.
  • Rooftop lounge: A special space available for curated community gatherings from club meetups to athlete meet and greets.
  • Smart Shopper: In-store technology allowing digital shopping within the physical retail space for all of the guests’ Oakley needs.
