Onitsuka Tiger Launches Paris Flagship

Japanese footwear and fashion brand Onitsuka Tiger has unveiled its new global flagship store in Paris, marking a significant step in the brand’s ongoing international expansion.

The two-storey store, located at 25 Avenue des Champs-Elysees, occupies 5,500sq ft at the foot of the historic Hotel de la Paiva.

The space, designed around the brand’s vibrant Yellow Concept, features items from Onitsuka Tiger’s runway collections, the Japan-made denim line Denivita and a special edition of the Mexico 6 NM sneaker available exclusively at the Paris location.

In addition to retail, the brand has introduced Cafe Onitsuka Tiger on the ground floor, offering Japanese-inspired beverages and Parisian-style snacks.

“The opening of our flagship store on the Champs-Élysées is a pivotal moment for our brand,” said Ryoji Shoda, Head of Onitsuka Tiger. “Designing a retail space that harmonises with the iconic streetscape of the Champs-Élysées while utilising a historic building cherished by the local community is a significant challenge. As a cultural brand that bridges Japan and the world, our goal is to create a store and environment that honours the essence of the Champs-Elysees and coexists with the city’s rich culture.”

The Paris flagship joins a global network of 192 standalone Onitsuka Tiger stores, including 48 in Japan, 83 in China, 32 in South Korea, 19 in Southeast Asia, seven in Europe and three in Australia.
