RH Unveils First Quebec Gallery

The luxury home furnishings retailer has opened a 49,000sq ft, three-level design gallery in Montreal, marking its first location in the province of Québec.

In addition to a wide collection of luxury home goods, RH Montreal, The Gallery at Royalmount features a glass-encased rooftop restaurant that opens into a landscaped garden.

“We believe great architecture amplifies and renders our product and brand more valuable,” said RH Chairman & CEO Gary Friedman. “We either find great historical architecture and readapt it, or we build it. RH Montreal is an entirely new design, built from the ground up.”

Conceptualised as a transparent, multi-level structure, RH says its new Montreal location features an artisanal brick facade in a custom parchment-cream palette, a contemporary new concept for the brand. Crafted of hand-selected Italian bricks, the exterior is complemented by glass-and-bronze doors that lead to garden courtyards and terraces.

The new location is home to the RH Interior, Modern and Outdoor collections. The ground level features an arrangement of rooms presenting artistic installations of the Collections that integrate the brand’s furnishings, lighting and décor features. On the second level, a design studio offers clients professional design services, including private client presentation rooms with state-of-the-art technology, design libraries showcasing a wide assortment of textiles, furniture and lighting finishes. This level also features the RH Rugs showroom.
