The renowned Japanese watch brand celebrated for its precision, innovation and artistry, has announced the opening of its new boutique at Marks Square, Bengaluru.
Opened last week, the expansive 1,400sq ft standalone store marks a significant milestone in SEIKO’s continued expansion in India, further strengthening the brand’s presence in one of the country’s most dynamic and design-conscious markets.
The launch was marked by a thoughtfully curated experience featuring live Indian instrumental performances, symbolising the harmony between Japanese craftsmanship and Indian artistry. Strategically located at Marks Square, the Bengaluru boutique has been designed to reflect SEIKO’s 145-year watchmaking legacy.
Designed to offer an elevated retail journey, the boutique showcases an extensive selection of SEIKO’s iconic collections, including King Seiko, Prospex, Presage, Astron and New 5 Sports, thoughtfully displayed to encourage exploration and discovery. A key highlight of the space is a specially curated section dedicated to the brand’s collaboration models and limited-edition promotions launched this year, featuring standout releases such as the Pink Panther edition, Pepsi-inspired models, the Datsun collaboration and the India Edition 5 Sports. Together, these collections reflect SEIKO’s seamless blend of enduring craftsmanship, mechanical excellence, pop culture influences, automotive heritage and regional storytelling, offering collectors and enthusiasts a distinctive and immersive brand experience.
Speaking on the launch, Yoshikatsu Kawada, Director & Senior Executive Vice President, SEIKO Global Division said: “We are witnessing a strong appreciation among Indian consumers for Japanese watchmaking, particularly for collections such as King Seiko, Prospex and Presage, which combine distinctive design with mechanical excellence. This shift towards well-crafted, design-led timepieces reinforces our confidence in the market and supports SEIKO’s continued expansion and deeper engagement with collectors and new enthusiasts alike.”
