Boparan Restaurant Group will unveil the fifth UK site to Brunswick Centre this autumn. Bringing the taste of Arkansas and the renowned Deep Southern hospitality to central London, Slim Chickens, the American fast-casual restaurant specialising in life-changing chicken will open its fifth UK site on Brunswick Square after the success in their James Street and Cardiff openings last year, followed by Soho and Birmingham earlier this year.
Opening to chicken lovers, the restaurant is spreading its wings and bringing its iconic 100% British, fresh, buttermilk marinated, hand-breaded and cooked to order premium chicken to another central London location from the 27th of this month.
The UK expansion comes amidst ambitious growth plans for Slim Chickens as the Boparan Restaurant Group aim to open many more restaurants by 2022 in key cities across the UK. With a booming social following and a digital app letting Slim Chickens fans know about new openings and offers.
From testing chicken recipes in a garage, Tom Gordon and Greg Smart went on to open the first Slim Chickens in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 2003 with the ambition of creating magnificent, freshly cooked chicken for guests, fast. Over a decade and thousands of happy guests later, the business has grown to over 80 sites in the US alone.
The menu will feature the brand’s most iconic dishes, including hand-breaded, buttermilk tenders, freshly prepared with 100% British chicken. A whopping selection of 13 dipping sauces will also be available, from Korean BBQ and Garlic and Parmesan to Blue Cheese and Mango Habanero. To top it off, guests can choose from a selection of five signature sides and treat themselves to hand spun shakes or one of the decadent jar desserts.
