Target Corp. is celebrating the opening of eight new stores this summer – including its 320th location in California.
The openings are part of the 20 new locations that Target plans to open this year and also reflect the retailer’s commitment to building more than 300 stores over the next decade. Target is also leaning into larger footprints. Three of the new locations top the chain’s 125,000sq ft store average.
Here is the list of new Target stores opening this summer:
- New York: Queens Astoria (opening 20 July)
The store is approximately 41,000sq ft; services include order pickup and same-day delivery with Target Circle 360, with next-day delivery available to all of Astoria. It also features a CVS Pharmacy.
- California: Jurupa Valley (opening 17 August)
This store is more than 147,000sq ft; services include drive up, order pickup and same-day delivery with Target Circle 360, with next-day delivery available to all of Jurupa Valley. It also features an Apple at Target, CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks Café and Target Optical.
- Connecticut: Guilford (opening 17 August)
This store is more than 78,000sq ft; services include drive up and order pickup. It also features an Apple at Target, CVS Pharmacy, and Starbucks Café.
- Connecticut: Norwalk (opening 17 August)
This store is more than 117,000sq ft; services include drive up, order pickup and same-day delivery with Target Circle 360. It also features a CVS Pharmacy and Starbucks Café.
- Florida: Bradenton, Heritage Harbor (opening 17 August)
This store is more than 149,000sq ft; services include drive up (including a canopy over the pickup lanes), order pickup and same-day delivery with Target Circle 360. It also features an Apple at Target, CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks Café and Target Optical.
- Florida: Wildwood (opening 17 August)
This store is more than 136,000sq ft; services include drive up (including a canopy over the pickup lanes), order pickup and same-day delivery with Target Circle 360. It also features an Apple at Target, CVS Pharmacy and Starbucks Café.
- New Jersey: Flemington (opening 17 August)
This store is more than 74,000sq ft; services include drive up and order pickup. It also features a CVS Pharmacy and Starbucks Café.
- Pennsylvania: West Goshen (opening 17 August)
This store is more than 120,000sq ft; services include drive up, order pickup and same-day delivery with Target Circle 360, with next-day delivery available to all of West Chester. It also features a CVS Pharmacy and Starbucks Café.
