The parent company of TGI Fridays, Sugarloaf TGIF Management, has signed a master franchise agreement with India’s USR Hospitality to develop 51 restaurants across the country.
The agreement also sees former TGI Fridays President and COO John Neitzel join USR Hospitality to support the brand’s growth in the Indian market.

USR will develop both high-street and mall locations and has secured exclusive rights to open restaurants in airports nationwide, aiming to introduce the TGI Fridays dining experience to millions of travellers across India.
