Vuori to Expand Asia Footprint

Performance and lifestyle brand Vuori is expanding its footprint in Asia with two store openings in South Korea’s Seoul and China’s Beijing later this year.

The company is set to open a store in Seoul via a franchise partner in September and its first store in Beijing in October. In addition, the retailer will launch its e-commerce platform in 11 more countries, namely Japan, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Austria and Portugal.

The physical and online expansion follows successful openings in London and Shanghai and a strong start to wholesale in Japan and Europe.

“Vuori’s international growth has been patient, long-term focused and designed to build brand equity across all key channels where our customer shops,” said Senior VP of International Andy Lawrence. “With our new stores in Beijing and Seoul, we’re deepening our presence in key markets in Asia, while our digital expansion into key European and Asian countries allows us to test, learn, and scale in a way that’s responsive and efficient.”

Vuori aims to surpass the 100-store milestone globally by the end of this year and reach 15 stores outside the US by next year. The brand is currently available in more than 18 countries worldwide.
