On Thursday 31 March, The Churchill Bar & Terrace will be hosting an exclusive bartending event with Milan’s elusive 1930 Bar, for one-night-only.
The Italian bar is currently ranked as Number 20 in The World’s 50 Best Bars and has become one of the most famous speakeasies in Milan.
1930 Bar is one of the most mysterious bars in the world and has been hidden away in Milan for years and is a true representation of the secret American bars of the 1920s. For those lucky enough to find their way into the 1930 Bar in Milan, there is a spectacular cocktail menu with a focus on South American drinks, such as Chicle, a tequila-based cocktail that uses bubble gum syrup, acidified gum syrup and a cashew and copoazu foam.
Whilst the original bar is famously challenging to locate, highly-acclaimed Bar Manager, Benjamin Cavagna, will be delighting guests with his ingenious handcrafted cocktails with an exclusive menu at easy-to-find The Churchill Bar & Terrace in London’s Marylebone. Some of the cocktail creations available on the night include the Copacabana, a tropical long drink representing the journey to Brazil made with a hint of bitter, cachaca, gin, mango and tonic water; and the ‘Ndujoni, made with Bitter Fusetti, dry vermouth, crispy pepper, sun-dried tomatoes and homemade distilled nduja. The evening will start at 6pm before wrapping up at approximately 10pm.
