The store is located in New York City’s Nolita neighbourhood and is currently operating an appointment-only system.
Founded in 2003, 3sixteen develops clothing that demonstrates longevity in both design and construction. The launch of their first flagship location was in 2016 in Downtown Los Angeles and since, the brand has continued to go from strength to strength.
The new location will offer the brand’s signature denim including its recently revamped ‘Classis Straight’ cut jeans, classic fatigue pants and selvedge chinos as well as their slubby cotton work shirts, striped vacation shirts and patterned popovers. There are also some souvenir t-shirts which are only available in the store.
The store has been designed by Brooklyn-based Studio Meadow. Upon entering the store, customers will pass through an arched passage representative of the Verrazano Bridge. Reclaimed wood, century-old brick and textured hand-trowelled walls adorn the location in a classy yet understated combination.
