The new restaurant opened at Address Hotel, with a menu featuring fresh and authentic Japanese cuisine.
Originating in Madrid, the popular Japanese restaurant will provide diners with 99 Sushi’s signature classic dishes, such as foie gras nigiri, spicy tuna tartar and crispy tiger prawn tempura as well as the brands infamous blue fin tuna carpaccio. Adorned with ornate gold and intimate seating, the restaurant provides the perfect location to watch the chefs prepare their meals.
Following an opening at Abu Dhabi’s Galleria Mall in 2017, that turned out to be a hit with the locals, the brand was confident that it would be well situated in Downtown Dubai’s dining scene. Originally intended to open in March, the coronavirus pandemic halted the launch however despite the threat of a second wave, Jaime Castaneda, General Manager and Company Director believes that now is still the right time to launch the brand into a new market.
Castaneda commented: “It is time to be brave, it is time to invest in people, and time to give new opportunities to rebuild the hospitality sector once again.”
