The convenience chain has partnered with restaurant chain Su/food and hotel Regent Taipei.
The partnership will provide seven different boxed meals targeted at office workers and according to the chain, meals will be delivered to the stores by partnering meal providers. Alternatively, customers will be able to place advance orders through the convenience store’s ibon machine before noon, to then be picked up the following day.
Su/food will create and produce nutritional meals while Regent Taipei has asked chefs specialising in Chinese and Western foods to prepare a number of exclusive menus for the chain.
The new partnership is expected to increase sales by 10 to 20 per cent and once the service has been trialled and successfully implemented, it is expected to be rolled out across a number of stores in other areas.
