The offering will be the world’s first pizza subscription service.
General Assembly Pizza was launched in 2017 and since then has been providing perfect made-to-order pizzas using only the best artisanal ingredients. Following on from the success that the brand has received since opening, the brand intends to expand their presence and offering by launching what is describes as the world’s first pizza subscription service. The service will offer customers free home delivery for stacks of pizzas in portions of four, six, eight or ten from as little as $9 per pizza.
“In 2020, providing the best guest experience means General Assembly Pizza has to be more than a restaurant. I’m proud to say that after almost six months of planning, many roadblocks, and countless pivots – all while maintaining our day-to-day restaurant operations amidst a pandemic – we have done it. Along the way, we’ve connected more than ever with our community, and we look forward to bringing a little of that original GA guest experience back into their day-to-day lives, at home.” commented Founder and Chief Executive Officer Ali Khan Lalani.
The service will initially be available in Toronto with plans to expand throughout Ontario in 2021.
