Adidas Opens Largest Australian Store

The new store is located in Adelaide’s Harbour Town Premium Outlets and occupies a space of 891sq m.

The hugely popular sportswear brand has commented that the new outlet store will replace an existing smaller store in the same shopping centre as they have witnessed an increasing demand for international brands and that their own brand has become increasingly popular, even in spite of the Covid-19 pandemic that drastically effected sales for many retailers.

Tania Rucicoh, Centre Manager at Harbour Town Premium Outlets commented that Adidas has an extremely important place at the centre, one that is frequented by locals. She comments: “Adidas designs activewear for and with athletes of all kinds in mind and is certainly one of our most popular brands. During the two-week relocation and transition into the new store, we were inundated with calls from customers daily on when they could shop at Adidas again. It came as no surprise that the company hit its weekly target in the first two days of trade.”

A number of other popular globally recognised brands are part of the portfolio at Harbour Town Premium Outlet including Under Armour, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Polo Ralph Lauren.
