The ride will be the world’s first rollercoaster based on Jurassic Park that also features an original story.
The new Jurassic World VelociCoaster is the latest attraction to be announced as part of Universal Orlando’s Jurassic Park. Visitors at Jurassic Park will also have a chance to meet life-size dinosaurs and experience a number of other rides that utilise technology and striking visual effects.
The new rollercoaster attraction occupies more than 4700sq ft, travelling up to a height of 155 feet, the ride is sure to give guests an exhilarating thrill. Guests can expect to be accelerated through two launches with the ride gathering to speeds of 70 mph in 2.4 seconds. Guests will also fly through 12 seconds of airtime and weightlessness whilst enjoying a 360-degree barrel role above the Islands of Adventure lagoon.
