Sephora customers will be able to receive their beauty products on the same day as they order.
Since the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic, there has been a massive shift in consumer behaviour that has seen customers more likely to utilise online and ecommerce shopping options for their shopping needs. This has been particularly prominent for the grocery industry however; the convenience element of online shopping is making it an appealing option for other retailers to utilise.
Sephora’s partnership with Instacart is another step the beauty retailer has taken to enable a more engaging and faster-buying experience. Shoppers will be able to browse and purchase their beauty, skincare and wellness products and have them delivered within an hour.
Carolyn Bojanowski, Senior Vice President and GM of eCommerce for Sephora commented: “We’re always looking for unique, yet practical ways to meet our clients at every touchpoint; and now more than ever, we know they seek ease and convenience. With our Instacart partnership, we can offer a new same-day delivery service option to our existing clients, and also introduce some of the benefits of being a Sephora client to Instacart’s marketplace.”
