The tourist attraction which is located on Yas Island, is more than 40 per cent completed.
SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is a part of Miral’s huge AED12bn investment in developments for Abu Dhabi and in particular Yas Island which is already home to a number of attractions including Yas Waterworld, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros World. This latest project will have a total area of around 183,000sq m and will feature six realms that show ‘one ocean’. A number of immersive experiences will also be available to teach visitors about marine life.
Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Miral has been to visit the construction site and is pleased with the destinations progress, he comments: “We are proud to have partnered with SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment on this incredible project, which brings more than 55 years of expertise in marine conservation and world class marine animal care to Yas Island.”
Once complete, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi will become one of the world’s largest indoor aquariums.
