This will be the first of Hilton’s luxury brand LXR Hotels & Resorts to open in Asia.
Roku Kyoto will be home to 114 rooms and will offer guests a bespoke experience of the area, with opportunities to immersive themselves in the deep history of Kyoto. Amenities at the hotel include a number of fine dining options, various experiences and activities, spa treatments, a pool, fitness centre and more, all set in a stunning setting of natural hot springs.
Each LXR hotel is heavily inspired by its setting, and Roku Kyoto is no different. Feisal Jaffer, Global Head, LXR Hotels & Resorts commented: “No two hotels are alike – every property is a bespoke collaboration with its owner, resulting in a rich guest experience that is authentic to its destination, yet world-class in execution.”
Nils-Arne Schroeder, Vice President of Luxury & Lifestyle, Asia Pacific, Hilton commented: “With the cultural threads that are woven through every part of the hotel – from the architecture to culinary experiences and the surrounding environment – combined with the unique identity of the hotel and backed by Hilton’s expertise in delivering personalised experiences, I am confident Roku Tokyo is perfectly placed to be the epitome of a peaceful retreat with a deep connection to the alluring city.”
