Tailor on Tap Launches Brick and Mortar Store

The digitally-native retailer has partnered with BrandBox to launch their first physical store location.

Tailor on Tap was founded to help customers achieve a look that is as individual as they are, on their own budget. The brand prides itself on being a convenient and easy way to shop for custom clothing. Now with the launch of their first physical store at Tysons Corner Center, customers are able to review suit and shirt fabrics as well as embellishment features such as buttons and threads.

The store is the result of a partnership between the retailer and BrandBox, a vision of Macerich which provides short-term leases to online retailers who are interested in expanding into the bricks-and-mortar sector.

Adam D’Angelo, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, commented: “I founded Tailor on Tap to provide high-end, tailor-made clothing to anyone from college students and athletes to young professionals. Our new showroom allows them a chance to meet with stylists, browse fabrics, and create their unique pieces in comfort and style.”

Kayla Druga, Vice President of Marketing, discusses the style consultants who will be located at the store to help customers: “They’re trained in fashion design and merchandising, and all have impeccable taste when it comes to putting patterns, colours and designers together.”
