Food-e Launches in Tokyo

The gourmet restaurant delivery app, which is considered to be the first of its kind in Japan is now available for customers to use in Central Tokyo.

Food-e offers customers a curated collection of some of Tokyo’s top restaurants, with the likes of Nobu Tokyo, Elio Locanda, Oak Door, Shunbou and Chinaroom all already available on the app. The company commented that new restaurants will regularly be added to the platform and the company proudly added that the restaurants available on Food-e are not available on any other delivery app.

Customers can browse the selection of quality food offerings before placing an order from these restaurants to their homes, offices, or other locations. Food will be delivered in quality packaging with hot and cold items packed separately to ensure temperature control, another element of the gourmet service.

The app will initially be available to customers in a 5km radius from Nishi Azabu, with parts of Minato, Chuo, Chiyoda, Shibuya, Meguro and Shinjuku all in the catchment area. The company does plan to expand its operations in the near future.
