The sophisticated Shanghai-inspired restaurant serves an authentic Chinese menu.
Upon entering the restaurant, guests are transported back to Shanghai in the 1920s and 30s, a place in time where the restaurant has drawn inspiration from. Dark plush velvets are utilised and combined with ornate gold, cosy seating, jewel coloured fabrics and low-lighting create the desired scene.
The menu has been created by Chef Dayi Nong and consists of a number of Chinese delicacies that encapsulate a modern flair. Guests can enjoy a number of dishes including Dim Sum, Classic peking duck with a Cantonese twist, silky noodles and mango pomelo sago pudding.
“Stepping in to Ba Ban is entering a bold and sophisticated world of escape that only W hotels can offer. It has the glamour of Paris with the social vibrancy of Shanghai and it’s right here in Muscat, delivering a distinctly W take on Chinese cuisine,” commented Gerald Chevasson, General Manager of W Muscat.
