Aldi Opens 900th UK Store

Located in Berkshire in the South-East of England, the store opening is testament to the company’s plans to continue their expansion across the country.

This major milestone for the brand comes as the company continues with their investment scheme which will see Aldi invest £1.3bn in the UK over the next two years. This investment will ensure that the brand can keep expanding their offering into new regions amid a growing demand for consumers for high-quality, reasonably priced produce.

“Until today, Sandhurst was one of many areas in the UK without an Aldi. That means it was another place where people didn’t have easy access to the highest-quality groceries and the lowest prices every day. Opening our 900th store means that, after years of careful investment in our UK store network, we’re another step forward in making Aldi available to as many shoppers as possible,” commented John Richardson, Regional Managing Director.

The new Berkshire store will allow customers to purchase fresh food, British meat products, weekly-offers, the Aldi ‘Specially Selected’ range, exclusive beers, wines and spirits and Aldi’s ever-popular Specialbuys.
