The new Arby’s restaurant, located in Guadalajara is the first resultant in Latin America.
The sandwich chain has continued to see strong sales growth despite the impacts of the Coronavirus pandemic. President Him Taylor commented that Arby’s is in fact closing in on its tenth consecutive year of positive same-store sales.
Arby’s had intended to open the location in the first half of 2020, however due to the Coronavirus, this was pushed back to ensure that demand was still there. Following this launch, the brand has announced that it intends to open another location in Latin America that will be ready to serve customers as early as the start of 2021.
As with other locations, Arby’s has adapted around 25 per cent of its menu to suit local tastes. New additions to the menu in the Guadalajara store include pork belly and pulled pork sandwiches topped with lettuce, tomato and cheese. Customers will also be able to purchase beer for the first time, with the options of Modelo Especial and Negra Modelo both available at the restaurant.
